What metaphor does paul use to describe the new life that people have in christ?

The answer is adoption. Paul uses adoption to describe the new life that people have in Christ.

EXPLANATION

This is the content of Romans 8:15,

"The Spirit you received does not make you slaves so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him, we cry, 'Abba, Father.'"

In Roman 8:15, it explains that if a person has lived with Christ, then the person’s relationship with God has changed forever. The person is now seen as God’s child, through the power of the Holy Spirit.

In Roman 8:14, Paul wrote that anyone who is led with the Spirit of God is considered as His children. If we believe in God, then we will be freed from slavery to sin, and now we are slaves of righteousness (slaves of God).

Yet, in the next verse, which is Roman 8:15, Paul makes it clearer from misunderstandings, that God actually does not see us at His slave at all, but we are His son. God did not free us from sin just to make us his slave, but we are actually seen as His own children. This also involves the Holy Spirit.

God adopt us as His children by the Holy Spirit. More simply, God changed our status into being His son or His daughter. We are no longer alone and have to walk our ways by ourselves, but we have God as our father to guide us along the way.

Allisa [31]

Answer:

Intrinsic motivation; extrinsic motivation

Explanation:

Nancy decided to take introductory psychology because she has always been interested in human behavior. Jack enrolled in the same course because he thought it would be easy. Nancy's behavior was motivated by <u>intrinsic motivation</u>, while Jack's was motivated by <u>extrinsic motivation</u>.

Intrinsic motivation is a type of behavior or motivation that is driven by internal rewards such as the satisfaction of fulfilling a purpose/living for a purpose or self satisfying desires, while extrinsic behavior is a behavior motivated by external rewards such as promotion at work, good grades as in the case of Jack.

Inessa05 [86]

The answer is <u>"They could research peer-reviewed articles to see if either perspective is supported."</u>

By taking a gander at distributed and looked into articles, the two could examine diverse hypotheses and check whether both of their guesses are right. By doing this, Lesley and Stephen can hope to check whether there are any replicable examinations that offer belief to either perspective.

Sociology and psychology are two social sciences that are corresponding to each other. However, sociology includes the investigation of gathering conduct of people on a large scale level, while psychology is more worried about what goes inside the mind of a person in various circumstances and situations.
