<h2>Answer:</h2>

The equation that matches the graph of the function is:

                y=3x+2

<h2>Step-by-step explanation:</h2>

By looking at the graph of the function we observe that the graph is increasing continuously with the increasing value of x this means that the line has a positive slope.

Also, the equation of the line passes through the point:

(-1,-1) , (0,2)  and (1,5)

We will find the equation of line with the help of two passing through points (0,2) and (1,5) as follows:

y-2=\dfrac{5-2}\times (x-0)\\\\i.e.\\\\y-2=\dfrac{3}{1}\times x\\\\i.e.\\\\y-2=3x\\\\i.e.\\\\y=3x+2

Explain why an inverse variation function is not the best model for the data set
dmitriy555 [2]

Answer: The cause of exponential decay. Sowwy if im wrong

Step-by-step explanation:

An inverse variation function is not the best model because the data points show an exponential decay. The fact that this is true for ALL of the points shown indicates we have an inverse variation of the form x*y = k where k = 60 in this case. ... For any inverse variation, as x increases, y will decrease (and vice versa).

How do I solve 4x+5=12-7x
zimovet [89]

Hi!

<h3>We need to isolate x on one sides, and whatever we do to the equation we have to do on both sides. </h3><h3>Subtract 5 from both sides. </h3>

4x + 5 - 5 = 12 - 5 - 7x

4x = 7 - 7x

<h3>Add 7x to both sides. </h3>

4x + 7x = 7 - 7x + 7x

11x = 7

<h3>Divide by 11 on both sides</h3>

11x/11 = 7/11

<u>x = 7/11</u>

<h2>The answer is x = 7/11</h2>

Hope this helps! :)
