What x value solves the equation? 3x – 5 = 1 x =
USPshnik [31]

Answer:

x = 2

Step-by-step explanation:

3x - 5 = 1

Adding 5 to both sides gives us:

3x - 5 + 5 = 1 + 5

3x = 6

Dividing the equation by 3 gives us:

3x / 3 = 6 / 3

x = 2
