Answer: No. Jamies reasoning doesn't make any sense.

Counter example :- Isha decides to go on walk on every 4th day and go for gym on every 2nd day in a month.

Then Isha will do both the things on same day = LCM (4,2)

Now, LCM of 4 and 2 = 4

Therefore, Isha will do both the things on 4th day of the month .

Step-by-step explanation:

Jamies reasoning doesn't make any sense.

Because the LCM of 3 and 6 = 6 not 18[since 6=3×2]

LCM is the least common multiple number of two or more numbers.

10.A water tank has strps inside it. A monkeyis sitting on topmost floor(i.e.,the first step). The water level is at ninth step.
soldi70 [24.7K]

Answer:

7 steps.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since the monkey is sitting on the first step already you can subtract 9 by 1 to find the amount of steps left.

9-1 = 8 steps left

The monkey jumps 3 steps down

8-3= 5 steps

Then jumps 2 steps up

5 + 2 = 7 steps

The monkey has 7 more steps until he reaches the water level.

An instructor asked her students how much time (to the nearest hour) they spent studying for the midterm. The data are displayed
BARSIC [14]

Based on the data displayed in the histogram, the percentage of students who study 2 or more hours for the midterm is 88%.

What percentage study 2 hours or more?

First, find the number of students studying:

= 3 + 9 + 6 + 3 + 2 + 1 + 1

= 25

The number of students studying 2 or more hours for the exam are:

= 9 + 6 + 3 + 2 + 1 + 1

= 22 students

The percentage studying for two hours or more is:

= 22 / 25

= 88%

Perimeter of rectangle 26ft length 6ft what's the width
Mamont248 [21]
To find the missing width/length for the perimeter of a rectangle:

You multiply the found length/width, in this case, the length, by 2. Since there are 2 of the same sides of a rectangle.
6*2 = 12
Now, you have to subtract the perimeter, 26, from the product.
36 - 12 = 24.
You have to divide the difference by 2 because 24 is the 2 missing sides put together.
24/2 = 12
So, the missing width is 12 feet.
