Explanation: Triple Entente is an alliance between France, Russia and Great Britain (England), which was created due to the need for balance in relation to the alliance between Germany, Austria-Hungary and Italy before the First World War. This alliance of Triple Entente was formally established in 1907, to cease to exist in 1917, due to the Revolution in Russia.
