E=6c^2-2c-1<br> F=-4c^2+7c+5<br> E+F=
kifflom [539]

Answer:

E + F =   2c^2  + 5c + 4

Step-by-step explanation:

E=6c^2-2c-1

F=-4c^2+7c+5

E+F=  6c^2   -2c   -1  +  -4c^2   +   7c   +  5

E + F =   6c^2 - 4c^2  - 2c + 7c  - 1  + 5

E + F =   2c^2  + 5c + 4

The area of the regular pentagon is 6.9 cm2. What is the perimeter? 2 cm 5 cm 10 cm 20 cm
disa [49]

Given

Area of the regular pentagon is 6.9 cm².

Find out the perimeter of a regular pentagon

To proof

Formula

Area of regular pentagon is

= \frac{1}{4}\sqrt{5(5+2\sqrt{5})}\ a^{2}

As given in the question

area of regular pentagon = 6.9 cm²

now equating the area value with the area formula.

6.9 =\frac{1}{4}\sqrt{5(5+2\sqrt{5})} a^{2}

Now put

√5 = 2.24 ( approx)

put in the above equation

\frac{6.9\times 4}{\sqrt{5(5+2\times2.24)}}=a^{2}\\\frac{27.6}{\sqrt{47.4}}=a^{2}\\\frac{27.6}{6.88}=a^{2}

thus

a² = 4.01

a = √ 4.01

a = 2.0 cm ( approx)

As perimeter  represented the sum of all sides.

i.e regular pentagon have five sides of equal length.

Thus

perimeter of the regular pentagon = 5 × side length

                                                         = 5 ×2.00

therefore the perimeter of the regular pentagon = 10cm

option c is correct

Hence proved

Mary's making curtains out of some fabric for five Windows the two larger windows are the same size and the three smaller window
pochemuha
So we have 2 large windows, each needing 3 3/4 yds of fabric....and 3 small windows, each needing 1 1/3 yds of fabric

2(3 3/4) + 3(1 1/3) =
2(15/4) + 3(4/3) =
30/4 + 12/3 =
7 1/2 + 4 =
11 1/2 (or 11.5) yds of fabric are needed <==

Determine the slope
Delicious77 [7]

Answer:

1/3

Step-by-step explanation:

We use the formula y2-y1/x2-x1. The two points that I would use are (3,-1) and (-3,-3). This means that the equation will be -3--1/-3-3. This is equal to -2/-6. This is also equal to 1/3. Therefore, the slope is 1/3.
