They housed/fed/etc soldiers (they hated it tho and 3 amendment says never gotta do that again)

While they were considered to be huge advances in civil rights the 13th abolished slavery, the 14th gave citizenship to all people either born in the states or naturalized in the states, which is to go through the process to be a US citizen, and the 15th  granted African American men the right to vote
