Answer: a. He is distraught and unsure.

In this excerpt, Hamlet is distraught and feels desperate. He begins to wonder whether it would be better to die, as dying is only to sleep forever. He thinks this would end his heartache, and all the pain he is subject to. However, as he continues talking, he wonders if maybe the sleep of death comes with dreams, and whether those dreams might be nightmares. This worries him, and makes him more unsure as to what choice to make.

The answer is A: He is distraught and unsure.

In this famous passage from Shakespeare´s Hamlet, perhaps the most renowned soliloquy in the history of drama, Hamlet ponders death by one´s own hand, wondering if it would bring solace to a troubled soul, like his, or whether it would bring further suffering, this time, in a very original interpretation of death as sleep, a form of sleep who no one knows what kind of dreams it will bring, what possible horrors could it present to the one who, dead, can´t ever scape his dreams.

Skim both pages of the document quickly to get an overview of the text. Do not read the text.
musickatia [10]

Answer:

A. The company has a clear lunch policy.

E. There are special considerations for employees who require additional time at lunch.

Explanation:

Skimming is the process of reading a text rapidly to gain an overview of the text. To do so, read the title, the table of contents, and the headings for an overview of ideas. Glancing at any pictures, diagrams or charts, reading the entire introduction and the topic sentences of each paragraph also helps.

The first title has "Lunch Policy" in it, so that's why A is right. The second page has a title called "Considerations", so E is right. The other answers are wrong because those are information you'd find if you read the whole pages, not skimming them.

What is one important element of Romantic literature?
denpristay [2]

Answer:

The Supernatural

Explanation:

The Romanticism Era of literature was pratically a polar opposite of the writing style of Realism, where Realism focused on simple plots, and easy to understand descriptions of life and the reality of the situation. Now Romanticism is very different, it focuses on the Supernatural and Strange side of life, and often had elaborate plots. Romanticism includes vivid descriptions of detail and has an elaborate plot, with a supernatural twist to it. For example a story of Romanticism is the Raven.

Can someone write an expository essay for me plz!i would appreciate a lot
VMariaS [17]

Whenever you do something that you really like, you only focus on that, regardless of the amount of energy you are spending on it or the time you have been dedicated to that activity. This principle applies to a job. This is why one should always pick a job that is related to something he or she really enjoys to do.

Society imposes rules since you are born. You need to educate yourself from a very young age, follow a school system during the first 18 years of your life and finally go through college in order to get a profession. Certain factors such as money and prestige end to distract one's focus on the things that really matter. Which is enjoying life and trying to serve others by doing what you like most. The earlier you come to realize this, the best chance you'll get to engage in activities that fulfill your purpose in life. This is why people get jobs or engage in activities that are not as profitable as others.

This way one should focus only on his or herself instead of thinking about pleasing others or looking better for society.

Where is the pronoun error found? Explain how the author could change this sentence:
DiKsa [7]

Hello

"Everyone were convinced that Ryan would pitch on Saturday."

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Everyone was convinced that Ryan would pitch on Saturday."

Everyone were does not make sense,

everyone was does.

This is a simple mistake of point of view. Sometimes it can get confusing, which leads to grammar mistakes.

'Were' would be used in a sentence like "Where were you guys?"

'Was' would be used in a sentence like "I was gonna go, but I didnt."

Hope this helps!

Have a great day!
