The people involved in the enlightenment saw the government that was happening around them and wanted it changed. Instead of having one monarch that ruled everything, they wanted a system of checks and balances (that can be seen in democracy). In terms of law. Beccaria wanted punishments to be less brutal for crimes and I can't really remember who it was that said if you go by the general will then you'll be free. Economic wise, most if not all enlightened people wanted the government to stay away from economics. It wasn't until the Great Depression in America that the government actually got involved in economics. They thought that the government was only for the army, the police, and maintaining public works.

Public Policy and Management Considerations in Digital Government Initiatives .
skelet666 [1.2K]

There are a number of policy and management considerations when it comes to digital government initiatives.

The first, since public money is being spent, is whether or not the program has value or is a good use of public money.

The second is whether or not there is the correct staffing to ensure success.

Third is whether the correct infrastructure exists

Fourth is whether there are existing standards for privacy, safety, and user information or do those need to be created.

And fifth is whether stakeholders have been consulted to find out what is actually needed.

Whatención is the difference between your hometowns location and your hometown location as place
Vika [28.1K]
Differentiating the terms “location” and “place” is a bit difficult to state in words, most especially that the two have been used interchangeably by many. This comes as no surprise since most resources define “location” as “a type of place” while some definitions of “place” appear to be a type of locality, which is still very related to the term “location.” Nevertheless, the two must be understood as two different concepts.<span>
