Answer: 1. She was neglected, and had no interaction with anyone. She had no brain stimulation. This is important because it shows what happens when children aren’t taken care of properly. And they get no attention emotional,or physically.

             2. Scientists learned children’s brain develop in the early stages of life. And continues to develop as they grow up in life. The most crucial stage for development is the infant years.

           3. Assistive technology is any item, piece of equipment, software program, or product system that is used to increase, maintain, or improve the functional capabilities of persons with disabilities.

          4. Speech-generating devices are or produce electronic voice output, allowing the individual to communicate.

          How they work: These portable electronic devices allow people  to select letters, words, and messages, alone or in combination, to be spoken aloud in a pre-recorded or computer-generated voice.

          5. Augmentative  communication is individuals  who compensate for severe speech-language impairments in the expression or comprehension of spoken or written language.

        Why its important:  ACC is important because  it is proven that you will have a better chance of maintaining a strong communication and you can build a better  relationship with your child
