Given:

  • Total money saved up is $25
  • CD that has to be bought costs $12.99
  • Birthday card has to be bought costs $2.50

To Find:

An inequality to find the most money that can be used for other spending.

Solution:

The required inequality is x\leq 9.51.

Explanation:

Let x denote the money I can spend for other purposes. Then x has to be less than or equal to the left over money of my savings after the CD and card are bought.

The CD and card together cost me $12.99 + 2.50 = $15.49

My savings are $25.

So, after buying the CD and card, I'll be left with $25 - 15.49 = $9.51

Thus all my other expenditure denoted by x has to be less than or equal to 9.51.

The required inequality is x\leq 9.51.

12.99+2.50=15.49
20.00-15.49= 14.51
X=CD
Y=Birthday card
Z=total
L=money left
X+Y=Z
20-z=L
(I hope this helps at least a little?)

Find the sum of the fractions below 2 1 over 2 + 2 1 over 3
Firdavs [7]

Answer:

\frac{105}{6}

Step-by-step explanation:

\frac{21}{2}   +   \frac{21}{3}

lowest common multiple of 2 and 3 is 6

21×3 = 63

21×2= 42

they are now going to have the same denominator of 6

\frac{63}{6}  + \frac{42}{6}

now u are just gonna add the neumerators and keep the denominator

\frac{105}{6}

A gift box is the shape of a rectangular prism. The box has a length of 24 centimeters, a width of 10 centimeters, and a height
Kamila [148]
Volume (V) is (=) Length (L) times (x) Width (W) times (x) Height (H) so V = L x V x H.

Add the variables to the equation.
V = 24 x 10 x 13

Solve
V = 3120

So the volume of the gift box is 3120 cm

Plz help I need this for my grade report cards are coming out
Kobotan [32]

Answer:1.5

1st box: 0.75

2nd box: 1.5

3rd box: 3

4th box: 28

Step-by-step explanation:

First I got the 4th box. I found out 3.5x2=7, and 7x2=14. So I know the pattern is multiply by 2.

Then I got the 3rd box. I used a proportion. (14x6)/28= 3

Then the 2nd box. I did (3x7)/14=1.5

Lastly, I did the 1st box. (1.5x3.5)/7= 0.75

I hope that helped :)

Answer: 110, 35, 70, G, J, F, E, B, A, H, C, D, I

Step-by-step explanation:

8. For number 8, you will be using the exterior angle theorem. The exterior angle theorem states that the exterior angle equals the two angles inside the given triangle. Since we have 50 and 60, you will add 50 + 60 to get 110.

9. In this problem, you shall use the vertical angle theorem. The vertical angle theorem is simply that any angles vertical from one another are congruent. So a will be also 35 degrees.

10. This is an image depicting two lines cut by a transversal, creating multiple congruent angles. With this, you will be using the alternate interior angle theorem. Alternate interior angles are angles on different sides of the transversal but inside both of the lines that were cut into, as shown above. So,  b will also equal 70 degrees.

Part B:

1. G

2. J

3. F

4. E

5. B

6. A

7. H

8. C

9. D

10. I
