Ok so for number 1, Gabe makes $13.50 an hour. This is because if you divide
40.50 \div 3  = 13.50
meaning that he makes 13.50 per hour.

for number 2, since Jordan makes $3 more, you add that to the 13.50 which gives you 16.50. so then you would multiply 16.50 by the number of hours he worked. for example if he worked 4 hours it would be
16.50 \times 4 = 66
so he made $66 when he worked for 4 hours
