Leisure has an expense for sure. You can’t be working while having fun...also you tend to spend more money when having fun. So there should be a good balance. Most People will work until the point that they have enough leisure time and money to have fun on top of there basic needs. Other options are to substantially defer fun until later in life (retirement) so maybe they work long days when young and retire early and enjoy the leisure time then. Unfortunately if you have too much fun when young at the expense of studying, it could hurt you earning potential later on. So really one of the best investments of your time in life is to study when you’re young. When youre young your time is worth nothing. Might as well spend it studying. When your older time becomes more expensive because you could be using that time to make more money at work or spend time with family. So really it’s a delicate balance that ultimately depends on a person’s needs and desires in life
