The domestic slave trade continued in 1800 with millions of slaves who were forced to migrate in the U.S. The slaves were treated harshly and they were the property of their master, this bought the tension among the master and slave relationship. The domestic slave trade induced suffering, separating families members and developing the atmosphere of instability in their community. The building the domestic slave trade was an insatiable demand for labor from growing plantation areas in the South.
