Answer with explanation:

Total number of slices of pie = 48 pieces

Total number of Slices of single Pie = 6 pieces , which can be written in fractional form as \frac{1}{6}

Total number of Pies (Integral Value)

          =\frac{1}{6}\times 48\\\\=8

Number of pies Contributed by members of the Department = 2 Pies =2 ×6=12 slices

→Number of whole pies that  department have to sell=8=6 (Math Department )+2 (Members of Department)

Number of whole pies that Math Department sold= 6 pies
