Answer:

Cereal Box A is better

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

Two cereal boxes; A and B

Cereal A costs $4.20

Cereal A weighs 14 ounce

Cereal B costs $3.90

Cereal A weighs 12 ounce

To get which is better, we need to calculate the cost of each cereal per unit ounce

To do this, we divide cost of cereal by weight of the box.

i.e. Unit Price = Cost of box ÷ Weight of box

For Box A

Unit Price = $4.20 ÷ 14 ounces

Unit Price = $0.3 per unit ounce

For Box B

Unit Price = $3.90 ÷ 12 ounces

Unit Price = $0.325 per unit ounce

By being better, means cheaper.

Since Cereal Box A costs less than Cereal Box B, then Box A is better

Umm I don’t remember this please help. I will give correct answer brainliest
VikaD [51]

Answer:

Option D

Step-by-step explanation:

F=\frac{9}{5}C+32\\\\F-32=\frac{9}{5}C  \\\\5(F-32)=9C\\\\\frac{5(F-32)}{9}=C  \\\\C=\frac{5}{9}( {F-32})

For F=77°F

C=\frac{5}{9}(F-32) \\\\C=\frac{5}{9}(77-32)\\\\C=\frac{5}{9}(45)\\\\C=\frac{225}{9} \\\\C=25

Given that f(x)=2x+2 evaluate f(1)+f(5)
Svetlanka [38]

Answer:

16

Step-by-step explanation:

To solve this, you need to evaluate the function at f(1), which just means that you have to plug in 1 for any x you see in the equation. For example, here f(1) = 2(1) + 2 which simplifies to 4. Next find f(5). By doing the same process you will find that this is 12. The problem asks for f(1) + f(5) so by putting those values in you will get 4+12=16. Hope this helps! :)

Sub r into area:

\text {area = } \pi ( \dfrac{c}{2 \pi } )^2

\text {area = }  \dfrac{\pi c^2}{4 \pi^2 }

\text {area = }  \dfrac{\ c^2}{4 \pi }
