I would definitely want to know. Some genetic disorders are, very and severe and if it is severe I would not want to put my child through a low quality life. I would choose to adopt children who I could support a good life.

Any BMI between 18.5 to 24.9 is considered healthy. If she really wanted to she could lose the 7 pounds as long as she stays within the healthy BMI levels and doesn't drop any lower than 18.5 but she really doesn't need to.
