A DNA molecule with a total of 1500 nucleotides has 300 cytosines. How many thymines does the DNA molecule have?
Sergeu [11.5K]

The DNA molecules will have 450 thymines if a DNA molecule has a total of 1500nucleotides

A DNA molecule also known as deoxyribonucleic acid is made up of a double helix.

The DNA molecule with a total of 1500 nucleotides will contain 750 cytosine and Thymines and 750 guanines and adenine.

Hence we can have the expression:

C + T = 750

If there are 300 cytosines, hence;

300 + T = 750

T = 750 - 300

T = 450

This shows that the DNA molecules will have 450 thymines

Bumek [7]

Answer;

-The above statement is True.

ATP is an unstable, high-energy molecule that provides body cells with a form of energy that is immediately usable.

Explanation;

-ATP is an unstable molecule which hydrolyzes to ADP and inorganic phosphate when it is in equilibrium with water. The high energy of this molecule comes from the two high-energy phosphate bonds. The bonds between phosphate molecules are called phosphoanhydride bonds.

-It only stores small amounts of energy by adding phosphate groups to the ADP molecules and then produces ATP. It can easily release and store the energy by breaking and re-forming the bonds between phosphate groups which is the basic energy source for cells.

Difference between correlation and causation when analyzing data and drawing conclusions
RideAnS [48]

Answer:

Please find the difference between correlation and causation in the explanation section

Explanation:

Correlation and causation are two mistaken terms during data analysis and conclusion, however, these two terms mean different things.

Correlation shows that two variables relate to one another. In other words, two variables are said to CORRELATE if a relationship exists between them. For example, a correlation exists between sales of radios and sales of batteries because they are related.

On the other hand, causation describes how one variable's action causes an effect in the other variable. In other words, the one variable causes the other. For example, There is causation between sales of radios and sales of batteries if the sales of radio causes the sales of batteries.

The difference between these two is that the correlation of two things does not mean causation. That is, two things might be related but does not cause one another. Note that , sales of radio and batteries in the first example does not mean one causes the other.
