Compare and contrast the U.S. Revolution and the South American Revolution.

South American revolution was different insofar that it sometimes didn't even have wars. Brazil got its independence without a war with the Portuguese. Another thing is that the colonies in South America weren't democratic and when they got their independence they were ruled by rich landlords or by the military and were not democratic like the United States.
