Citing the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), Airbnb is challenging the New York law and others in the United States, argu

ing that it merely operates a digital marketplace, and thus is not responsible for the content that users place on its site. Do you think Airbnb has a strong argument? Why or why not? Are you concerned that the concept of the sharing economy could be abused by unscrupulous "entrepreneurs" and thus give the entire novel concept a bad reputation? Why Or why not? Explain.

Explanation:

Airbnb does not have a strong argument, I believe. I think you ought to regulate it if you offer a service.

Due to the large number of host on Airbnb, I understand that it is easier to say than just doing; however, they must be able to develop algorithms in order to implement unwanted information on their site. In addition, if the content that users put on the website is not owned, how is the site responsible for making money? What is responsibility?

I believe that every company is responsible for keeping its users safe and you have to be shut down unless you are unwilling.

I will not worry that unethical "entrepreneurs" may exploit the idea of sharing economy and thus give the innovative concept a poor reputation in its entirety. Perhaps I don't mind because I understand that one person takes something to destroy If I were scared of anything's wrongdoing, I would exist each day in fear. Each individual should be vigilant at the conclusion of the day when using the share economy, instead of believing in a human you just saw.
