Answer:

D) specialize cells perform specific functions in the body

Explanation:

Specialized cells perform specific function in the body thereby increasing the efficiency. Such cells are found in complex organisms which are also known as higher animals. In such animals, many cells differentiate to form a group of cells known as tissue and perform a specific function. The cells of a tissue are very competent in performing only one type of function as compared to a cell which is not specialized and hence less efficient and have to perform all the functions rather than being specialized in just one type of work. For example, in humans which are higher organisms, nervous tissue performs the function of co-ordination, blood tissue performs the function of nutrient transport and exchange of gases but in lower organisms like unicellular bacteria all the functions are performed by just one cell.

What happens to the clathrin coat once the vesicle has budded from the golgi body?
GalinKa [24]
I believe once the vesicle has budded from the golgi body the clathrin coat is lost. During budding the membranes and proteins are moved around the cell in small vesicles. A protein coat aids the budding of these vesicles from donor membranes, The major type of coat used by the cell is comprised of clathrin; a three legged protein that can form lattice-like coats on membranes destined for trafficking.
