Since ZP is the bisector of ∠ OZQ, then we can say:

∠OZP = ∠PZQ

8x-9 = 5x+18
8x-5x = 18 + 9
3x = 27
x= 27/3 → x = 9

Now plugin the value of x in both angles:
a) 8x - 9 = 8(9) -9 and " 8x - 9 = 63°
b) 5x +18 = 5(9) + 18 and "5x+18" =63°

A cone is filled to a height of 3 inches with a liquid. The liquid is then poured into an empty cylinder with the same height an
Tasya [4]
Answer: 1 inch

Volume of the cylinder = πr²h

Volume of the cone = 1/3πr²h

If the radius are the same for both the cone and the cylinder, then the liquid will reach 1/3 of its height in the cylinder compared to the cone.

Height = 1/3 x 3 inches
Height = 1 inch

Find the volume of a cylinder if it has a diameter of 8 and a height of 12. Leave your answer in terms of 70.
rewona [7]
If we need to choose the closest answer from the above given ones it is 6471.

SOLUTION:
Diameter(d)= 8
Radius(r)= d/2=8/2 =4,,
Height of cylinder (h)= 12

So,
Volume of cylinder = Pi r^2*h
=22/7 * 4^2 * 12
=4224/7
=603.42,,
