Assuming there is no typo with the genotypes, both parents are recessive in both traits. Therefore the phenotype of the offspring can only show recessive traits, namely green and short. In otherwords, the probability of having green and short phenotypes is 100%.

Why does the angle at which the Sun’s rays hit the Earth change during the year, and how does this cause the seasons to differ i
kirill115 [55]

Explanation:

This is due to the tilted earth's axis. During the summer, the sun's beams hit the Earth at a steep angle. The light does not spread out so a lot, subsequently expanding the measure of energy hitting any given spot. Likewise, the long daylight hours permit the Earth plenty of time to reach warm temperatures.

Why is it important that a plant uses photosynthesis?
gayaneshka [121]

Answer:

They use the process of photosynthesis to transform water, sunlight, and carbon dioxide into oxygen, and simple sugars that the plant uses as fuel. These primary producers form the base of an ecosystem and fuel the next trophic levels. Without this process, life on Earth as we know it would not be possible

These penguins are all members of the species Aptenodytes patagonicus. What is the difference between a species and a population
Vikki [24]

Answer:

A species refers to the group of similar organisms that can interbreed to produce a viable offspring. For example, Homo sapiens is a species of humans, Panthera leo refers to the species of lions et cetera.

In contrast, a population in ecology refers to the group of organisms of the same species living in a particular area. For example, the deer population in a forest, human population in a town et cetera.

For example, Aptenodytes patagonicus refers to a species of penguins but number of penguins of the same species living in a particular area would make up a penguin population of that area.
