The main conflict in the book is cancer. Hazel's cancer impacts every decision she makes in her life. It's the reason she is scared of becoming attached to people, especially since she knows that one day she will die. It affects her when she almost doesn't get to go to Amsterdam. It affects her when she meets Augustus. She is limited, because of her cancer, although she tries to do everything she can. It also affects Augustus when his cancer comes back.

Which line from "What to the Slave is the Fourth of July?” supports Douglass’s claim that the Fourth of July is not a cause wort
Gelneren [198K]
It is this line: "<span>Fellow-citizens, above your national, tumultuous joy, I hear the mournful wail of millions! whose chains, heavy and grievous yesterday, are, to-day, rendered more intolerable by the jubilee shouts that reach them."

Douglass admits that the Independence Day is an important date when a great thing happened for all Americans. But he thinks it is inappropriate to celebrate a nationwide holiday when there are millions of members of this nation who are not free and able to celebrate. This festivity makes those people feel even worse.</span>

How are independent executive agencies different from cabinet executive agencies they have larger staffs they are more specializ
kari74 [83]

Because they are more specialized, independent executive agencies differ from cabinet executive agencies.

  • Although the executive authorities are the primary working units of the federal government, there are numerous more organizations that play a significant role in ensuring that both the government and the economy run smoothly. Since they are not a part of the formal departments, these are typically referred to as independent agencies.
  • Independent agencies are similar to Cabinet departments in size and complexity. They typically cover a smaller range of duties than Cabinet departments. Most of these agencies are merely autonomous in the sense that they are not departments, but they are still subject to presidential supervision. In contrast to executive agencies, independent agencies are not directly under the supervision of the president or the executive branch.

Thus the correct option is B.
