I'm pretty sure that the answer is A, the line would set steeper because the value of x is larger

The answer is A.

It will increase at a faster rate because the coefficient in front of x is much bigger.

You can test this by plugging a few numbers into both equations:

plug 1, 2, and 3 into both:

y=3x+1

plug in 1 and you get 3+1 = 4
plug in 2 and you get 6+1 = 7
plug in 3 and you get 9+1 = 10

y=7x+1

plug in 1 and you get 7+1 = 8
plug in 2 and you get 14+1 = 15
plug in 3 and you get 21+1 = 22

as you can see, by making the number in front of x bigger the y values increase at a faster rate.

Hope this helps, and May the Force Be With You!

√−100 = ___ +_____i<br> ...
Natalija [7]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Rewrite this as

\sqrt{(-1)(100)}

Knowing that i-squared = -1:

\sqrt{(i^2)(100)}

Both i-squared and 100 are perfect squares, so this simplifies to

±10i
