Do you know what the right answer is? I haven't done this stuff since high school. So, I could be wrong. I thought I'd warn you in advance. ;)

I am not sure if this is how you do the problem, but this is how I did it:
I plugged in x-values to each equation until I found the one that fit the graph. The shading I believe represents the side of the line that we would like to have a y-coordinate on. I attached a screenshot of my work. Hope it makes sense!

It's the first one because the slop is -3 and the point is 4

Evaluate the expression below at x = 5.
sleet_krkn [62]

Answer:

Option C is correct and the answer is 1000

when x =5

Step-by-step explanation:

For solving expression

(3x-5)^{x-2}

put value of x=5 in the expression

{(3\times5)-5}^{(5-2)} \\(15-5)^{3}\\\\ 10^{3} \\1000

Hence option C is correct that is 1000

"The sum of 7 and the quotient of 6 and q."
algol [13]

Answer:

The sum of 7 and the quotient of 6 and q will be:

                                                                                                  7 + 6/q

Step-by-step explanation:

As quotient is determined by dividing one quantity by another

So the quotient of 6 and q can be written as:

                                                                          6/q

We also know that the sum can be determined by adding two or more numbers.

Therefore, the sum of 7 and the quotient of 6 and q will be:

                                                                                                  7 + 6/q

Help!! What is arc HLK? Thankyou!
Bezzdna [24]

We know Angle HMK is half the sum of Arc JI and Arc HLK. So, we can set up an equation.

8x - 1 = 1/2 (3x + 2 + 15x - 36)

8x - 1 = 1/2 (18x - 34)

16x - 2 = 18x - 34

32 = 2x

16 = x

Then, we can substitute x into Arc HLK

HLK = 15x - 36

HLK = 240 - 36

Arc HLK = 204°
