The cell that is the precursor of all types of blood formed elements is the Hemocytoblast. The formed elements of blood, through the process of hemopoiesis, they are continually produced, replacing the relatively short-lived erythrocytes , leukocytes, and platelets. The process starts in the red bone marrow, with the hemopoietic stem cells that differentiate into myeloid and lymphoid lineages.

Which of the following statements is true?
IgorLugansk [536]

Answer:

An atom consists of protons, electrons, and neutrons.

Explanation:

The atom of an element is its smallest indivisible particle that retains its chemical properties. Atom is the fundamental and basic unit of matter.

The structure of an atom is made up of a positively charged PROTON, a neutrally charged NEUTRON (both contained in the nucleus) and a negatively charged ELECTRON that surrounds the nucleus. These three particles are called sub-atomic particles. The arrangement and number of these sub-atomic particles determine the properties of the atom.

1. What are key markers for the identification of Bacteria?
Sindrei [870]
The answer is Special RNA polymerase, peptidoglycan in cell walls, ester-linked fatty acids.

Bacterial cell wall consists of peptidoglycans, not of cellulose or chitin. They also have ester-linked fatty acids, like eukaryotes. Ether-linked fatty acids are characteristics of Archaea. Also, bacteria have special RNA polymerase, unlike Eukaryotes that have three different type of RNA polymerase.

Organelles. Name them and tell what they are composed of?
VikaD [51]

Nucleus, vacuole, Golgi apparatus, ribosomes, rough endoplasmic reticulum, vacuole, Mitochondria, Smooth Endoplasmic Reticulum, Lysosomes, centriole are the organelles.

Explanation:

Organelles are the membranous cellular structure inside the cell performing specialised functions.

Nucleus: It consists of DNA, the genetic material, chromosome, histone proteins, nuclear envelope.

Vacuole: These are membranous organelles having water, inorganic and organic molecules, waste material and nutrients.

Mitochondria: They have two phospholipid bilayers and proteins, cristae and matrix.

Smooth Endoplasmic Reticulum: It is made up of tubules and vesicles that eventually forms a branch.

Rough Endoplasmic Reticulum: It is composed of tubules, vesicles and cisternae and held by cytoskeleton.

Golgi Apparatus: It has cisternae placed in stacks and lumens, stores the protein to be modified.

Lysosomes: It is composed of lipids and proteins. It has a single layer membrane, lysosome enzyme.

Ribosome: It is made up of rRNA and rProtein.

Centrioles: These are made up of proteins named microtubules.
