Ahmose was the King of Egypt that founded the 18th Dynasty. He was brave enough to drove out of invaders, invaded Palestine, and restored the dominance of Egypt over the Nubian people. What he did first was to fore the retire of the Hyksos, who had invaded Egypt previously. Then marched down to take Memphis (today's Cairo) under his control. So the vision and courage of Ahmose allowed Egypt to return to the glorious days it once had.
