Multiply the numerator together and denominator together.

51 x 1 and 5 x 2

51/ 10

after you simplify, you get 5 1/10

(to double check you do 10 x 5 + 1 and that should give you 51 which is the numerator)

1/5 of slabs are grey <br> whats the ratio of grey to yellow
Pie

Answer:

which number/word came first?

Step-by-step explanation:

the order of items in a ratio is very important! whichever word came first in a ratio ( when expressed in words) it was number must come first.

example: ratio from pizza to bread. 20 pizza 15 bread= 20-15

so 1-5 i think.

since it said Grey first then yellow.

Amiraneli [1.4K]

\text{Hello there!}\\\\\text{In this question, we're trying to solve the equation}\\\text{We would use the distributive property and solve after that}\\\\\text{Lets solve:}\\\\-16 + 5n= -7(-6 + 8n) + 3\\\\\text{Distribute the -7 to the numbers inside the parenthesis}\\\\-16 + 5n= 42 -56n + 3\\\\\text{Add 56n to both sides}\\\\-16 + 61n= 42  + 3\\\\\text{Add 16 to both sides}\\\\61n= 42  + 3 + 16\\\\61n= 42  + 3 + 16\\\\61n= 45 + 16\\\\61n = 61\\\\\text{Divide both sides by 61}

n = 1
