Male : female : total
5 : 7 : 5 + 7
5: 7 : 12

12600 ÷ 12 = 1050
1050 x 5 = 5250 male students
1050 x 7 = 7350 female students

Which is the solution set of the compound inequality 3.5x - 10 > -3 and 8x - 9 < 39
ludmilkaskok [199]
Hello! So, for the first inequality, we have to add 10 to both sides. When you do that, 3.5x > 7. Then, you have to divide both sides by 3.5. When you do that, you get x > 2. Then, for the second inequality, you have to add 9 to both sides, then you would get 8x < 48. Divide both sides by 8 and you get x < 6. The compound inequality for this question would be 2 < x < 6.

Please help i don’t know how to do this
Leviafan [203]
35 Degrees. This is because the a straight line is 180 degrees. Knowing this, 180-100= 80. 80+65= 145. 180-145=35 which is the missing angle.

4th and 5th option

Step-by-step explanation:

you can easily add eqn 1 and 2 to get rid of the y term for 4th option and get rid of x term by addition as well for the 5th option

this is a topic on simultaneous equation. If you wish to explore more into this topic you can give me a follow on Instagram (learntionary) I'll be posting the notes for this topic and some other tips :)
