Hello there!

2x² + 5x

The factorization form is: x(2x + 5)

--------------------------------------------------
The best way to factorize is to be able to visualize it. You see that you have x². It means that you gonna have one x out. Then you just put the rest inside the parenthesis.

I hope this helps!

The value of the unknown variable "x" given that -6x + 3= 45 is -7

Equations are expressions separated by an equal sign.  They can contain one or more variables.

The equation given in question is a linear equation containing one unknown variable "x".

The equation is expressed as -6x + 3 = 45

To get the value of x, we will follow the steps below:

Step 1: Subtract 3 from both sides of the equation

-6x + 3 - 3 = 45 - 3

-6x = 42

Step 2: Divide both sides of the expression by -6

-6x/-6 =42/-6

x = -7

This shows that the value of the unknown variable "x" is -7.

Paul [167]

Answer:

It should take 3.43 days for the two of them to paint the house if they work together.

Step-by-step explanation:

The together rate is the sum of each separate rate.

In this problem:

Together rate: 1/x

Adam's rate: 1/8

Judy's rate: 1/6.

So

Together rate = Adam's rate + Judy's rate

\frac{1}{x} = \frac{1}{8} + \frac{1}{6}

\frac{1}{x} = \frac{3 + 4}{24}

\frac{1}{x} = \frac{7}{24}

7x = 24

x = \frac{24}{7}

x = 3.43

It should take 3.43 days for the two of them to paint the house if they work together.

In a? symmetric, unimodal? distribution, about? two-thirds of the observations are? where?
Alchen [17]
In a symmetric distribution, better known as the Gaussian or normal distribution, two thirds of the observations or 66.67% of the observation belongs to the area between the -3∅ to +3∅ where ∅ is the standard deviation of the group. it is assumed here that the mean is 1 and the area under the curve is also 1.
