The answer for question 1 is D.  

 Since the ancient Chinese followed the Confuncius' religious teachings, one of the beliefs they had was the tradition of honoring their ancestors.

The answer for question 2 is A.

 There was a need of producing more coins as  a standard currency, because of the market economy, so they issued round coins with a roud hole, later with a square hole and other forms.
