7 0

Answer:

37,400

Step-by-step explanation:

Whatever the number 10 is being squared by, you just move the decimal right if it is a positive number. In this case, it is 10 to the 4th power.

If you move the decimal in 3.74 four times to the right, you will get 37,400.

Gelneren [198K]

Answer:

-3\frac{9}{10} ft

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that the change is -13/10 in 10 seconds

Here, you can write this statement as;

10s = -13/10

30s=?----------------perform cross-multiplication

(-13/10 * 30 ) /10

=\frac{-13}{10} *\frac{30}{10} =\frac{-39}{10} \\\\\\=-3\frac{9}{10}

How many 2/3 -ounce packages of peanuts can be made with 8 ounces of peanuts? Explain how you found your answer.
GrogVix [38]
To answer this I would divide 0.666 by 8. Or I could multiply 2/3 by a random near number to get an estimate.
I think I would multiply by 10 so it would be 20/3 which is 6.666 and you can fit another so it is about 7.333 and now I can add another 2/3 so it would be 7.999 therefore the answer would be 12 packets

PLEASE HELP! Explain
skelet666 [1.2K]

Answer:

x=17

Step-by-step explanation:

See those same little "triangles" on each right end of the horizontal lines? That means that the horizontal lines are parallel. And the vertical line that passes through both of them is called a transversal. Whenever we have that situation - where parallel lines are being intersected by a transversal - we can then know which angles are equal to each other using some postulates.

The angles with the given equations shown are corresponding angles. We know this because they are in the same matching corners created by the intersections. And by using the Corresponding Angles Postulate, which states that corresponding angles are congruent (or equal) we then know that 5x-25 and 3x+9 must be equal to each other, too.

From there, we can set up an equation to find x. Just set them equal to each other like so and solve:

5x-25=3x+9

2x -25 = 9

2x = 34

x = 17

Therefore, x = 17. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions!
