1) Force is a quantity that is measured using the standard metric unit known as the Newton. A Newton is abbreviated by an "N." To say "10.0 N" means 10.0 Newton of force. One Newton is the amount of force required to give a 1-kg mass an acceleration of 1 m/s/s. 2) The Principle of Moment states that when a system is in equilibrium the sum of its CLOCKWISE MOMENTS equals the sum of its ANTICLOCKWISE MOMENTS. Some examples where moments (turning effect) are applied involve levers, like seesaws, opening and closing doors, nutcrackers, can openers, and crowbars. 3) the size of the force applied.
the perpendicular distance from the pivot to the line of action of the force. 4) The principle of moments states that when in equilibrium the total sum of the anti clockwise moment is equal to the total sum of the clockwise moment. When a system is stable or balance it is said to be in equilibrium as all the forces acting on the system cancel each other out. 5) Force is equal to mass times acceleration. Force is measured in Newtons. You can use the force equation to also find the mass or acceleration of an object. To calculate the net force acting on an object, it helps to draw a free body diagram.

Which of the following statements best proves that the law of conservation of mass is obeyed during photosynthesis?
dlinn [17]

Answer: C: The total mass of glucose and oxygen formed from photosynthesis is equal to the total mass of carbon dioxide and water used up during the reaction.

Explanation:

According to the law of conservation of mass, mass can neither be created nor be destroyed. Thus the mass of products has to be equal to the mass of reactants. The number of atoms of each element has to be same on reactant and product side. Thus chemical equations are balanced.

Photosynthesis is a phenomenon in which green plants containing chlorophyll use sunlight as a source of energy to convert carbon dioxide and water to form glucose and oxygen.
