Answer: tried to spread religion in the Americas.

Religious tolerance was generally not present at that time, whether in America or in Europe. Spanish and French colonists wanted their colonies to be exclusively Catholic. Although some indigenous people were initially enslaved, this was soon replaced by the slave trade from Africa. Also, during that time period, there were generally few cities, and American Indians were not forced to move there. The right answer is that the colonists tried to spread religion in the Americas, mainly through the use of missionaries.

How does smith believe individual self interest and profits benefit all of society
DerKrebs [107]
According to Adam Smith, the self-interest represents the personal gain of the individual and actions he takes in order accomplish that self interest. He was a staunch believer in the free market and was against government regulations because he thought that the free market would most benefit the individual and therefore the society. The competition is what makes the the manufacturers produce better products and more of them, while this will spur the costumers to buy those products. When many act in their own self interest, the market will give both to the manufacturers and the consumers.

What do you see as the major strengths and flaws in the feedback control system used in the schools in this scenario
Romashka-Z-Leto [24]

Answer:

The answer is below

Explanation:

This is based on the Comprehension/Passage titled FIVE STARS COUSINS

The major strengths of the feedback control system used in the schools are described below:

1. Teachers' performance are not only based on students' performance or test score.

2. The evaluation strategies for teachers are different or peculiar to each area. That is, the evaluation strategy for those in urban areas is different from those in suburban or rural area.

The major flaws of the feedback control system used in the schools are described below:

1. There is subjectivity in the personal observation of principals and master teachers, which can affect the true ratings.

2. Unavailability of expert opinion. Instead of using principals and master teachers only, expert or independent opinion would have gone a long way to assess the situation better.

3. Tendency of biasness from the principals and master teachers, as they may rate their teachers higher so as to increase their good reputation.

4. Making conclusion on the basis of four classes by master teachers is too small to reach a definite conclusion.

5. Lack of monitoring control system, which made the principals and teachers to skipped their duty of visiting the teachers and some times providing false reports.

According to psychologist Sigmund Freud, human development occurs in three states that reflect different levels of the personal
Anon25 [30]

Answer:

The rational, reality-oriented component of the personality, according to Freud, is known as the Id.

Explanation:

Freud set three states, or levels of the personality; ego, id, superego.

  • Ego refers to the <em>innate impulses</em>, the <em>"animal"</em> in us.
  • Superego acts as a moral compass, guiding the individual towards the path generally accepted by society.

Id is the mediator between the two pervious terms; it is governed by the reality principle. It calms both states down in order to help the person to mend more into society. The id prevents the ego from taking over and only looking for short term gratification and it prevents toe superego from "suffocating" the individual with its restrictive nature.

To summarize, it is the rational, reality-oriented component which regulates both sides.
