there are great differences between habit and custom, the habit is the repetitive practice of an individual action of a person, which become part of their behavior, which can be transmitted from one generation to another, these can be, eating habits, hygiene , intellectuals, however the custom comes from repeated action from a collective, a nation, a city, accepted and practiced by all, these can be carnivals, fairs, way of dress, etc.
