In Elie Wiesel's book Night, the mood in section two is considerably different than it is in section one. In the first section, Eliezer is sharing his desire to know God and is very keen to study the cabbala. He finds a willing teacher in Moishe the Beadle, until Moishe is taken from the tiny village of Sighet. When Moishe returns, he is different.
