Since you do not have a picture, i will give you the steps, and you can see where the differences are at.

6x - 1 = -2x + 9

Note the equal sign. What you do to one side, you do to the other. Isolate the x.

First, add 1 to both sides

6x - 1 (+1) = -2x + 9 (+1)

6x = -2x + 10

Next, add 2x to both sides to isolate the x

6x (+2x) = -2x (+2x) + 10

6x + 2x = 10

8x = 10

Finally, isolate the x by dividing 8 from both sides

8x/8 = 10/8

x = 10/8 (may be where they stopped at, but you can go further)

Simplify. Divide 2 from top and bottom

(10/8)/(2/2) = 5/4

x = 5/4 should be final answer

hope this helps

Let point C be between V and W on VW Given that VW = 61, VC = z + 13, and CW = z + 8, solve for z.
LenKa [72]
VW = VC + CW
61 = z + 13 + z + 8 = 2z + 21
2z = 61 - 21 = 40
z = 40/2 = 20
z = 20.

Use log 3 = .477 and log 6 =.778 to approximate the expression. log 2
Fed [463]

Answer:

0.301

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that log 3 = .477 and log 6 =.778

Log 2

= log(6/3)

= log 6  - log 3

= 0.778 - 0.477

= 0.301

Hence the value of log 2 is 0.301

Need help with this I am not good in Geometry
valina [46]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Lines p and line r are parallel. This actually means that they will extend continuously without meeting at a point.

Let us assign an alphabet to an angle to make it easy for reference. The diagram is shown in the attached photo

From the photo,

Angle T is equal to 34 degrees. This is because angle T and 34 degrees are corresponding angles.

Angle G = angle T. This is because angle T is vertically opposite to angle G. Therefore

G = 34 degrees
