Who is elligible for a givernment bursary teaching
valkas [14]

Generous, tax-free funding is available to the best graduates training in a range of subjects. You could get a £26,000 bursary or be awarded a prestigious scholarship – which provides additional support and benefits throughout your training year. If you teach maths, you could get £30,000 – a £20,000 tax-free bursary while you train and a further £10,000 after tax once in teaching. With or without a bursary or scholarship, you could receive a tuition fee loan and maintenance loan to help fund your teacher training year. Alternatively, you could earn a salary while you train.

You can use the student finance calculator to estimate student loans and extra funding that may be available, for instance Parents’ Learning Allowance, Childcare Grants or Child Tax Credits. If you’re on a salaried course, you can estimate any in-work benefits by using the calculators on GOV.UK. The calculator is for trainees intending to train in 2017/18 – you can still use this to get an estimate of your entitlement for 2018/19. An updated version will be released soon.

what was the reason one reason the united states goverment gave subsidies and land grants to railroad companies onthe 1800
Lelechka [254]

They are financial aid and land grants from the government. Railroad executives made the argument that their companies should receive free public land on which to lay track because a rail network connecting East and West would bring important benefits to the entire nation.

zhuklara [117]

The correct answer is B) The Soviet Union is responding to U.S. pressure.

Reagan suggests that "The Soviet Union is responding to U.S. pressure."

In his speech of 1987, where United States President Ronald Reagan made references to the Berlin Wall, he also talked about the kinds of reformations instilled by Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev.

Reagen said the following: <em>"We hear much from Moscow about a new policy of reform and openness. Some political prisoners have been released. Certain foreign news broadcasts are no longer being jammed. Some economic enterprises have been permitted to operate with greater freedom from state control."</em>

He referred to Glasnost, the new Soviet reformation that granted some liberties to Russians, and Perestroika, the economic reformation that allowed foreign investment in the Soviet Union. Year later. these two programs were direct causes of the split of the Soviet Union.
