The triangle in the picture is an isoceles triangle meaning that angles P and R are congruent to one another. Here is how to solve the problem:

1. Set the equations equal to one another: 6x-15 = 4x + 5

2. Move the values to have "x" on one side: 2x - 15 = 5....2x=20

3. Divide by 2 to find "x": x=10

X = 10! Hope this helped :)

How do you do 9/16x = 3/4
musickatia [10]
Make sure you have a common denominator first so it would be
9/16x = 12/16 (you multiply 3/4 by 4/4 to get the bottom to equal 16)
Afterwards, times 16 on each side to get rid of it. Then you get 9x = 12
By dividing 9 on each side to isolate the variable, you would get x = 12/9
Afterwards, simplify it.
x = 4/3

Find the slope of the line passes through the pair of points (-5.5,6.1), (-2.5,3.1)
skad [1K]
The answer would be C.

If you do -5.5 + 2.5 over 6.1 - 3.1 it would be -3 over 3 which is equal to -1.

You could also do -2.5 + 5.5 over 3.1 - 6.1. It would be 3 over -3 which is also equal to -1.
