Answer:

The correct values of a, b, and c to correctly complete the division are: a = 4, b = 6, and c = 5.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let's recall how we can solve any division problem of fractions by following these three steps:

1. Flip the divisor into a reciprocal

2. Change the division sign to a multiplication symbol and multiply

3. Simplify your answer if possible

Therefore, we have:

1/4÷5/6 = 1/4 * 6/5

The correct values of a, b, and c to correctly complete the division are: a = 4, b = 6, and c = 5.

The question GIVES us an equation:

V₀ = √(v² - 64h) .

It TELLS us that v should be 100 ft/sec and h is 150 ft.
All we have to do is plug the numbers into the equation,
and then do the arithmetic to find V₀.
There's not even any Physics to do. Only arithmetic.

V₀ = √(v² - 64h)

v = 100
h = 150

V₀ = √(100² - 64·150)

V₀ = √(10,000 - 9,600)

V₀ = √400

V₀ = 20 ft per sec .

there are 56 students going to the game. the coach puts 7 students in each van. which number sentence can be used to find out ho
DENIUS [597]
Given:
students going to the game = 56
students in each van = 7
number of vans used = unknown; x

The number sentence that can be used to find out how many vans are needed to take the students to the game is:

7 * x = 56

x = 56/7
x = 8 vans needed.

Tall Club International has a requirement that women must be at least 70 inches tall. Given that women have normally distributed
Marizza181 [45]

Answer:

0.0150 = 1.50% of women satisfy that height requirement.

Step-by-step explanation:

Problems of normally distributed samples are solved using the z-score formula.

In a set with mean \mu and standard deviation \sigma, the zscore of a measure X is given by:

Z = \frac{X - \mu}{\sigma}

The Z-score measures how many standard deviations the measure is from the mean. After finding the Z-score, we look at the z-score table and find the p-value associated with this z-score. This p-value is the probability that the value of the measure is smaller than X, that is, the percentile of X. Subtracting 1 by the pvalue, we get the probability that the value of the measure is greater than X.

In this problem, we have that:

\mu = 63.7, \sigma = 2.9

Find the percentage of women who satisfy that height requirement.

This is 1 subtracted by the pvalue of Z when X = 70. So

Z = \frac{X - \mu}{\sigma}

Z = \frac{70 - 63.7}{2.9}

Z = 2.17

Z = 2.17 has a pvalue of 0.9850

1 - 0.9850 = 0.0150

0.0150 = 1.50% of women who satisfy that height requirement.
