So originally you have 52 cards which means that no matter what card you want it'll be a 1/52 chance pulling that exact card.

You pull an Ace which gives you 51 cards left, and a 1/51 chance of pulling the card you want.

You want another Ace, and since it's a full deck of cards means that there should be 3 Aces left in the deck.

Probability of pulling another Ace is 3/51. Hope this Helps.

Since we removed one ace out of 52 cards now remains 51 cards and 3 aces.
The answer is 3/51

Oranges = 20
Pears = 12

<span>What is the ratio of apples to the total pieces of fruit?
Solving:
</span>\frac{apples}{apples+oranges+pears} =  \frac{28}{28+20+12} =  \frac{28}{60} \frac{\div4}{\div4} \to\:\boxed{\boxed{ratio = \frac{7}{15}}}\end{array}}\qquad\quad\checkmark<span>

How to calculate a probability
Lelu [443]
Probability is calculated by comparing the odds to a certain event occurring to the number of possible events.

P=\frac{possibility-of-an-event-occuring}{number-of-total-outcomes}

For example, take a six-sided dice number 1-6 on each side. The probability of rolling a 4 would be1 in 6 or 1/6. This is because of the six possible outcomes, rolling a 4 is only one of them.

P(4)=1/6

Now take the same dice. The probability of rolling an even number is 3/6. To see why, lets look at the total possible outcomes:

1
2
3
4
5
6

Of the 6 possibilities, 3 are even numbers.

P(even)=3/6 or 1/2
