To find the area of the circle use the A = πr²

r (or radius) = 1.5

Plug in 1.5 for r

A = π(1.5)²

Square 1.5

A = π(2.25)

A = 2.25π yd² is your answer

hope this helps

bazaltina [42]

Test of a horizontal line.Suppose f is a function.F does not have an inverse if any horizontal line crosses the graph of f more than once.F does have an inverse if no horizontal line crosses the graph of f more than once

How do you calculate f's inverse?

  • Finding a Function's Inverse
  • Replace f(x) with y first, then.
  • Every x must be replaced with a y, and vice versa.
  • Solve the y-part of the equation from step two.
  • In place of y, write f1(x) f 1 (x).
  • Check that (ff1)(x)=x (f f f 1) (x) = x and (f1f)(x)=x (f f 1 f) (x) = x are both true to validate your work

f= {(1,2),(2,3),(3,5),(4,7)}

Dom(gof)=dom(f)={1,3,4}.

(gof)(1)=g{f(1)}=g(2)=3,

(gof)(3)=g{f(3)}=g(5)=1

(gof)(4)=g{f(4)}=g(1)

∴gof={(1,3),(3,1),(4,3)}.

I need the answers for a1 to a4 cause I don’t understand it
prohojiy [21]
A1 There are two ends so their combined surface area is 2 π * r2. The surface area of the side is the circumference times the height or 2 π * r * h, where r is the radius and h is the height of the side. The entire formula for the surface area of a cylinder is 2 π r2 + 2 π r h. so add the number of the height and radius plug in and you will get the answer for that.

Can someone help with this
Darina [25.2K]

T(l) = T = 2\pi \sqrt{\frac{l}{32.2} \\

T^2 = 4\pi^2 \frac{l}{32.2}\\32.2T^2 = 4\pi^2 l\\\frac{32.2}{4\pi^2}T^2 = l\\l (T)= \frac{8.05}{\pi^4} T^2

Then if T = 3s

l(3) = \frac{8.05}{4\pi^2}(3^2)ft
