Read the poem “If We Must Die” by Claude McKay. If we must die—let it not be like hogs Hunted and penned in an inglorious spot,

While round us bark the mad and hungry dogs, Making their mock at our accursed lot. If we must die—oh, let us nobly die So that our precious blood may not be shed In vain; then even the monsters we defy Shall be constrained to honor us though dead! Oh, Kinsmen! We must meet the common foe; Though far outnumbered, let us still be brave, And for their thousand blows deal one death-blow! What though before us lies the open grave? Like men we’ll face the murderous, cowardly pack, Pressed to the wall, dying, but—fighting back! What sentence best conveys the speaker’s message? Nature is more powerful than man. Victory is unlikely when one is outnumbered. There is honor in dying courageously. Nonviolence is the only way to prevent bloodshed. Mark this and return Save and Exit

Answer:

C - There is honor in dying couragously

Explanation:

Claude McKay would rather die with honor when even 'the monsters they defy' must 'honor us though dead'. He goes on to say that even though they are outnumbered they must still be brave and fight back while dying.

MatroZZZ [7]

Answer:

False.

Explanation:

The given assertion proffers a false claim as it incorrectly defines the communication displayed by Margaret through arranging a 'multiparty text chatting session with her quality managers and supervisors' as 'asynchronous communication'. This situation rather exemplifies a 'synchronous communication' as they all have been invited to a single platform to discuss the things face-to-face in real-time without the use of any external signal. All the participants are substantially involved in the process of communication. Therefore, the given statement is asserting a false definition.
