A pair of angles that are verttical are across from each other

example, lets say yo had a clock
draw a straight line from 3 to 9
then draw another line from 12 to 6
you have 4 ninety degree angles

the angle vertical angle pairs are
(12 to 3 with 6 to 9)
and
(3 to 6 with 9 to 12)
vertical angles have te same measrue

supplementary angles are adding to 180

so is is possible to have 2 vertical angles that are supplementary means
is it possible to have 2 angles of equal measure that add to 180?

basically
x+y=180
x=y
so
x+x=180
2x=180
divide by 2
x=90
x=y
y=90

the answer is YES
if they are both 90 degree angles

I dotn believe that a pair of angles can be vertical and supplementary. because vertical angles are across from each other, and supplementary angles are two angles next to each other (adjacent) that have a sum of 180. im not sure how to give an example/nonexample.

Alina measured a distance to be 2.18 miles. what is the margin of error? 2.1 miles to 2.2 miles 2.175 miles to 2.185 miles 2.185
Gre4nikov [31]

Answer:

 (b) 2.175 miles to 2.185 miles

Step-by-step explanation:

When a value is rounded, the original "exact" value is presumed to be within 1/2 of the value of one least-significant unit of the rounded number.

Application

A rounded value of 2.18 has a least-significant digit with a place value of 0.01 units. Half that value is the "margin of error". That is, the range of numbers that would be rounded to 2.18 is ...

 2.18-0.005 ≤ x < 2.18+0.005

 2.175 ≤ x < 2.185 . . . . miles

I have a strange True or False question on my packet.. But here I go: "A trapezoid has two 90 degree angles." Is it true or fals
alex41 [277]

Answer:

False unless a right trapezoid.

Step-by-step explanation:

All trapezoids have 4 angles which add to 360 degrees. The angles can be any measure except in a right trapezoid which does have two 90 degree angles. It is not a requirement to be a trapezoid though so this is false.
