1. First find the least common denominator (LCD) of 4 & 2
2. The LCD is 8 because 4 times 2 equals 8
3. Multiply 3/4 by 2 and multiply 3/2 by 4
- So far you should have 6/8x + 12/8x = 9/4
5. Add 6/8x + 12/8x which equals 18/8x = 9/4
6. Since both sides are fractions the easier way to do get rid of it is by multiplying the 8 in both sides.
7. It should be looking something like this:
18x = 72/4
18x = 18
x= 1

I attached me solving the problem if its better for you. Hope it helps.

The prism is completely filled with 1750 cubes that have edge length of 15 ft.
neonofarm [45]

The volume of the prism = 14 ft³

Solution:

Number of cubes in the prism = 1750

Edge length of each cube (a) = \frac{1}{5} ft

<u>To find the volume of each cube:</u>

Volume of each cube = a³

                                    $=\left(\frac{1}{5} \right)^3

Volume of each cube $=\frac{1}{125}  \ \text{ft}^3

<u>To find the volume of the prism:</u>

Volume of the prism = Volume of each cube × Number of cubes

                                  $=\frac{1}{125}  \ \text{ft}^3\times 1750

                                  = 14 ft³

The volume of the prism = 14 ft³

pogonyaev

Answer:

<h2>11/19</h2>

Step-by-step explanation:

(\frac{5}{4} + (-\frac{1}{3})) \div (\frac{5}{4} - (-\frac{1}{3}))\\\\\frac{\frac{5}{4}+\left(-\frac{1}{3}\right)}{\frac{5}{4}-\left(-\frac{1}{3}\right)}\\\\\mathrm{Remove\:parentheses}:\quad \left(-a\right)=-a,\:-\left(-a\right)=a\\=\frac{\frac{5}{4}-\frac{1}{3}}{\frac{5}{4}+\frac{1}{3}}\\\\\mathrm{Join}\:\frac{5}{4}+\frac{1}{3}:\quad \frac{19}{12}\\\mathrm{Join}\:\frac{5}{4}-\frac{1}{3}:\quad \frac{11}{12}\\\\=\frac{\frac{11}{12}}{\frac{19}{12}}\\\\=\frac{11\times\:12}{12\times \:19}

= 11/19

Find the sum of the sequence. 45+46+47+48+...+108
Anna11 [10]
We know, S = n/2 [ a + l ]
Here, a = 45
l = 108

Calculation of n:
a(n) = a + (n - 1)d
108 = 45 + (n - 1)1
108 - 45 = n - 1
63 + 1 = n
n = 64

Now, substitute in the expression:
S = 64/2 [ 45 + 108 ]
S = 32 [ 153 ]
S = 4896

In short, Your Answer would be 4896

Hope this helps!

Answer:

2. 12.08

3. 7.74

Step-by-step explanation:

a squared + b squared = c squared

2. 5 squared = 25, 11 squared = 121, 25 + 121 = 146, the squre root of 146 is 12.08

3.19 squared = 361, 421 - 361 = 60 60 squared = 7.74
