Hello!

Martin buys more fruit, because 6/3 is greater than 4/3. You can check which fraction is greater by converting it into a decimal, as decimals are sometimes easier to compare.

4 / 3 = 1.3 (Repeating)

6 / 3 = 2

As you can see, 2 is greater than 1.3 Repeating, so 6/3 pounds are greater than 4/3 pounds.

Martin bought more fruit. If both fractions have a denomiator of 3, and Jack buys 4/3, and Martin buys 6/3, it's obviously Martin. 6 is more than 4. We don't have to worry about the denominator.

Bryan is observing the velocity of a cyclist at different times. After four hours, the velocity of the cyclist is 15 km/h. After
Gnoma [55]
The best way to solve this problem is to graph all variables, velocity being the dependent variable (y-axis) and time being the independent variable (x-axis) . Since we are given two points for the two variables, we use the point-slope formula to get the slope which happens to be -1. We then use the standard form y = mx + b and substitute m with -1. Next we want to find b, we will again use the point slope formula now knowing m to be -1. we chose point 0 for time(x-axis) and at zero, we obtain a value of your b which happens to be +19. A line graph would better visualize my point. Cheers!

Explain why the value of sine ratio for an acute angle of a right triangle must always be a positive value less than 1
weqwewe [10]
Answer: See below.

The sine ratio is the ratio of the opposite side over the hypotenuse in a right triangle. The hypotenuse is always the largest side of a triangle.

Therefore, the denominator will always be the largest. If the denominator is larger than the numerator, it will be a number less than one.

And it will be positive because it is an acute angle so the triangle when plotting in the unit circle would only be in the first quadrant. All values in the first quadrant are positive.
