Well if you want to simplify you can do it to ways 1 leave it how it is because you cant simplify anymore or 2 turn it into a mixed number first see how many times you can fit 8 into 27 8*2=16 8*3=24 8*4=32 so it is 3 times and you have 3 left over so that goes over 8 and your simplification is 3 3/8
