When a organism adapts to its surroundings it docent become extinct instead it survives. It wouldn't make sense that if it were to adapt then it would be extinct. While over hunting is a cause of extinction and so is climate change if the organism is not well adjusted to any temperature. Habitat destruction is also a cause of extinction because it kills the organisms home causing them to not have anywhere to live. So adaptation is the correct answer.
