Well there many. For instance 3/4 = .74 so 74 / 100 = 37/50
So, 1/2 = .5 so .6 is greaten .5 an less than 3/4, which is .75. We can turn .6 into a fraction like so 6/10 = 3/5 so 3/5 is another fraction.

If you have a list to chose from show the options you have to chose from.

If a car averages 23.2 miles per gallon of gasoline, how far can it go on 15.25 gallons?
ankoles [38]

The car goes 23.2 miles every gallon, so with 15 gallons (15 * 23.2 = 348) it can go 348 miles. With the extra .25 that the car has, it can go 0.25 * 23.2 = 5.8 miles. 348 miles plus the 5.8 miles gets you 353.8 miles on 15.25 gallons.

By accident, four burned-out bulbs have been mixed in with 20 good ones. Ken is replacing old bulbs in his house. If he selects
ollegr [7]

We will be using the fact that P(A \, and \,B) = P(A) \cdot P(B), where P(A) is the probability that the first bulb works and P(B) is the probability that the second bulb works.

The probability that the first bulb works is \frac{20}{24} = \frac{5}{6}. However, when we take one out (given that the first bulb works) we now have 19 working bulbs and 4 bad ones. This means that the probability that the second bulb works is \frac{19}{23}.

Now, we can find our final probability:

\dfrac{5}{6} \cdot \dfrac{19}{23} = \boxed{\dfrac{95}{138}}
